All these pictures were taken during a two week trip to Riederalp in Switzerland in July 2004. These images where mostly taken at the Aletschgletscher, a Glacier 25km long, part of the UNESCO world nature heritage.

This shot was taken from Bettmerhorn at 2300m with a Canon 1Ds and 15mm f/2.8, 1/640s @ f11, ISO 100. Barrel correction in Photoshop.

During a cloudy day, suddenly the sun came through. Taken with a Canon 1Ds and 200mm f/2.8, 1/50s @ f11, ISO 100.

 

   

 

Just before sunset. I only realised the moon was there after the shot. Taken with a Canon 1Ds and 24-70mm f/2.8 @ 70mm, 1/13s @ f22, ISO 100.

 

   

 

An hour after sunset the moon emerged. Taken with a Canon 1Ds and 200mm f/2.8, 1/50s @ f7.1, ISO 100.

 

   

 

During a hike in the fog, the clouds lifted. Taken with a Canon 1Ds and 17-40 mm f/4 @ 17mm, 1/160s @ f/22, ISO 200.
